Teleprompter Cam AI Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Teleprompter Cam AI is a teleprompter video recording app. The app does not require account registration or login.

Depending on how you use the app, Teleprompter Cam AI may process the following information:

• Scripts you create, edit, and save in the app.
• Recording settings, such as teleprompter speed, font size, text color, and other local preferences.
• Camera and microphone input while you are recording a video.
• Videos you choose to save to your local Photos library.
• Topics, prompts, or text you enter when using the AI script generation feature.

Teleprompter Cam AI does not upload your recorded videos to our servers. Teleprompter Cam AI does not use advertising tracking and does not sell your data.

2. Camera, Microphone, and Photos Permissions

Teleprompter Cam AI requests permissions only for app features you choose to use:

• Camera: Used to show the camera preview and record video.
• Microphone: Used to record audio together with your video.
• Photos: Used to save finished recordings to your local Photos library.

If you deny these permissions, the related features may not work. You can change permissions at any time in your device Settings.

3. AI Script Generation

When you use AI script generation, the topic, prompt, language, style, duration, and related text you enter are sent to Teleprompter Cam AI's AI script generation service, which uses Groq to generate a script draft. This data may be processed by Groq for the purpose of generating the requested text.

Do not enter sensitive personal information, confidential business information, or information you do not want processed by an AI service.

Teleprompter Cam AI uses the AI response to display generated script text in the app. The generated text may be saved locally if you choose to use it as a script. Your recorded videos are not sent for AI generation.

4. Data Stored Locally

Teleprompter Cam AI stores your scripts and recording settings locally on your device using local app storage. Saved videos are stored in your device Photos library only when you choose to save them.

Teleprompter Cam AI does not require cloud sync, user accounts, or login for the MVP version.

5. Third-Party Services

Teleprompter Cam AI uses its AI script generation service, which uses Groq for AI script drafts. Information you submit for AI generation may be processed by Groq according to its own policies and technical operations.

Teleprompter Cam AI does not use third-party advertising tracking services.

6. Data Retention

Scripts and settings stored locally remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Videos saved to Photos remain in your Photos library until you delete them from Photos.

Data sent for AI script generation may be retained according to Groq's policies. Teleprompter Cam AI does not control the retention practices of Groq.

7. How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your data in the following ways:

• Delete scripts inside Teleprompter Cam AI.
• Delete saved videos from your Photos library.
• Remove Teleprompter Cam AI from your device to delete app-local data.
• Change or revoke camera, microphone, and Photos permissions in device Settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Teleprompter Cam AI is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use apps or online services without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
